Blindness & Braille

Blindness is a lack of vision. There are different types of blindness, partial refers to people with very limited vision and complete blindness refers to people who cannot see anything- including light. Blindness can be caused by a sudden traumatic experience or develop over time by other forms of eye conditions including macular degeneration or glaucoma. While Sage Vision is committed to the Low Vision community, we are currently exploring the devices and ways we can help people in the blind sector as well. We recognize that more than 1 million people in the US are considered legally blind, and we want to make it a priority to include devices to help these people so they can explore their possibilities.
