The Compact 8 is equipped with a generous 8-inch touchscreen and two high-definition cameras—one for viewing text and objects close up and another for distance viewing. View magazines, books, and product labels just as easily as viewing menu boards and bus schedules.

We’ve engineered the Compact 8 for comfort and ease of use while introducing new and proprietary contrast features never before seen in the Optelec product line.

Most notable of the advanced features is the patented dynamic contrast. This feature enhances the contrast of similar colors and provides sharp, more defined image, making undetectable text visible again.

The ergonomically designed built-in reading stand is positioned at an angle allowing a more comfortable reading experience. The all-new live panning feature makes it easy to zoom in and out of your targeted live view and swipe in all directions to read and magnify without physically moving the device.
